Game 1 of the NBA Finals will be played on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 6:30 PM ET at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The game will be televised on ABC in the United States and on various international networks.

The Celtics have home-court advantage for the series, but the Mavericks will be looking to steal an early game on the road. Luka Doncic, the reigning NBA MVP, will lead the Mavericks, while Jayson Tatum, the Celtics' All-Star forward, will be looking to take the next step in his career and lead his team to an NBA championship.

The two teams have split their two regular-season meetings this year, with each team winning at home. The Celtics won 119-110 in Dallas on January 22, while the Mavericks won 138-110 in Boston on March 1.

The NBA Finals are a best-of-seven series, and the first team to win four games will be crowned champions. Game 2 of the series will be played in Boston on Sunday, June 8, at 8:00 PM ET.
