Portuguese Manager To Replace Ismail Kartal

Jose Mourinho set to be named Fenerbahce manager

Jose Mourinho is set to be named manager of Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce, according to multiple reports.

The 61-year-old will replace Ismail Kartal, who left Fenerbahce on Tuesday after a disappointing end to the season.

Mourinho has been out of work since he was sacked by Manchester United in December 2018.

The Portuguese manager has a wealth of experience at the highest level, having won two Champions League titles with Porto and Inter Milan.

He also won three Premier League titles with Chelsea and one Serie A title with Inter Milan.

Mourinho's appointment would be a major coup for Fenerbahce, who are looking to challenge for the Turkish Super Lig title next season.

The club finished second in the league this season, behind Istanbul Basaksehir.

Mourinho is expected to be unveiled as Fenerbahce manager in the coming days.
